Join us for the first annual women’s regatta in the Okanagan Valley. This event is open to all keelboats with an all female crew and skipper. Vernon Yacht Club is located on beautiful Okanagan lake in the Okanagan Valley. We have a wonderful grassy area for tents and a large parking lot to accommodate RVs.

If numbers permit, we will have separate divisions. Race committee reserves the right to assign yachts to fleets.

Location: Vernon Yacht Club

Rules: The event will be governed by the Rules of Sailing and by the sailing instructions.

Entry fee: $50 per person, minimum $200 per boat. Entry fee includes reception Friday night, continental breakfast
Saturday & Sunday, and Dinner Saturday night. Teams who register before June 15,2008 will receive an
early registration giveaway.

Scoring: Low point scoring system. There is one throw-out for every four races completed

Handicapping: PHRF of BC. Yachts that do not have a valid PHRF rating will be assigned a temporary one.

Courses: To be announced in the sailing instructions. Sailing instructions to be available August 22, 2008 after
5 pm.

Format: Friday August 22,2008 - Pick up registration packages 5pm-9pm. Welcoming reception.

Saturday August 23, 2008 - Late registration 8am - 9 am
- skippers meeting at 9 am
- First Race at 10 am
- Dinner at 6PM approximately
- Entertainment

Sunday August 24th,2008 - no skippers meeting
- First race at 9 am. No race to be started after 12:30PM.
- Awards at 2PM.
